So, Justin Boeber asked his fans to cover his Boyfriend track, and as per usual his fanatic Belieber fanbase obliged with giddy lust fueled tween versions of the song, or so I heard, I haven't seen any of the covers, until I saw THIS chick do one. Her name is Laina. She took the lyrics and stalk-a-fied them, combined with her death-stare-eyes, she carved out a viral hit. She then went to cover Carly Rae Jephsen's po(o)p hit 'Call Me Maybe' and this is what I'm sharing with you now. This chick will steal your soul with her gaze! She. Does. Not. Blink!!!

So. I was browsing the social networks, and my buddy @meagyKar posted a link to some of the best WAGs of Euro 2012. I never shy away from some eye candy, and one particular WAG caught my eye, with her exotic looks and gorgeousness, and she just HAPPENS to be Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend, sheeeeet! I give you, Irina Shaykhlislamova or, Irina Shayk as she is known.

She is from one of my favourite countries, known for spy fiction baddies, Zangief, and vodka, our babe is from Russia! She studied music in school and plays piano. After school, she studied marketing, got bored, went to beauty school, got noticed by a modelling agency person, was encouraged to enter a beauty contest, and of course, she won! This is by far the most interesting thing I've heard of in ages. It's a project for human life to live on mars in the next few decades. It's a very viable concept. It's a shame that these rockstar scientists and immensely intelligent people don't get the shine and fame they deserve. I haven't even heard of Gerard't Hooft before today, and he won a Nobel prize. What a shame.

A new song I'm working on.

Recorded this while having a muso session with the super talented Riaan Oppelt. I've not had time to record any new stuff, but I am working on a music video for 'Who's That', so look out for that, but till then, you can watch this.

I really like this song, it's still incomplete, but you can get the dreamy, surreal feel it has to it in this rough, acoustic version. Once I get myself another guitar (mine is currently broken) I'll start recording more stuff.

So Nando's who are known for their hilarious ads have gone a bit deeper this time, tackling issues like xenophobia and racism in our country, but keeping the funny part of their usual ads. :)

But they seem to forgot that coloureds are also true children of Africa. We're a perfect mix of all those who emigrated here, and are a true product of South Africa. WE ARE SOUTH AFRICA :D

It's a brilliant ad. I love Nando's advertising. I love it so much I NEARLY ate there the other day. It's not my fault McDonalds is much faster. :D
